FOR: Educators, middle school through college
WHEN: Saturday, September 20, 2025, 9am-3:30pm
WHERE: The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History
Workshop attendees will get:
• A 5-unit curriculum aligned with NGSS and Common Core
• Hands-on training on sandy beach field science
• Valuable information on the logistics of field science
• Experience in using scientific tools and protocols
• A $100 stipend
Students who participate in LiMPETS will:
• Get outside!
• Conduct community science and contribute to a 20+ year database
• Learn about indicator species, coastal habitats, climate change, and human impact
• Connect to and learn about protecting local ecosystems and communities
Note the $30 registration fee will be refunded after participation.
